An internal job change has created the need for a Manager – Financial Reporting.  


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Leads and owns all external reporting efforts and processes culminating in the Company’s Form 10-K’s and Form 10-Q’s.
  • Leads the Disclosure Committee, which meets quarterly with Executive Leadership (including CEO and CFO) to discuss business developments and related disclosures.
  • Owns project management responsibilities for the Company’s external audit and outsourced internal audit
  • Owns the Company’s annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment tests
  • Owns the Company’s shared based compensation and earnings per share calculations and disclosures
  • Owns administration of the company-wide delegation of authority policy
  • Owns the execution of key controls and SOX compliance within the corporate entity
  • Own the development of team members
  • Supports all US GAAP technical accounting matters and the interpretation and implementation of new and evolving accounting topics.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly Audit Committee meeting materials 
  • Supports the close and consolidation process
  • Supports the earnings release process
  • Supports the execution of statutory audits
  • Supports the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting process
  • Supports other corporate accounting matters, goals and initiatives
  • This role can evolve into other corporate areas such as business planning, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, acquisition due diligence and purchase accounting.

 

Required Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CPA
  • Minimum 7 years progressive accounting experience
  • Extensive experience with SEC reporting
  • Experience researching and in-depth knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience working for or with global publicly traded companies
  • Experience working in public accounting
  • Experience working with a global ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Experience working with consolidation applications such as OneStream or Hyperion HFM
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present to Executive leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to be coached and mentored

  • Direct report – Financial Analyst
  • This role works extensively with BU Controllers and Divisional Controllers to report financial information
  • The small corporate office environment provides opportunity for a rich experience through exposure to other functions including treasury, human resources, investor relations, tax and FP&A, as well as to executive leadership
