Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Production Manager is responsible for assuring the highest quality product is produced at an efficient level while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Helping to achieve production goals by managing all aspects of a production line.
  • Managing and improving all aspects of safety, quality, and production.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, through leading and organizing production.
  • Managing labor to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Achieving production goals by managing all aspects of a production line in accordance with defined processes.
  • Coordinating between departments to maintain and enhance production flow.
  • Develop and implement plans regarding capacity, materials, labor requirements and cost reduction.
  • Control workflow to achieve production objectives in quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
  • Maintain and implement training for employees.
  • Maintenance and administration of production systems and equipment.
  • Maintain safe, orderly and clean facilities.
  • Initiate and drive Lean initiatives along with continuous improvement throughout all processes.
  • Analyze, contain, define, and correct product or process challenges.
  • Review, approve, and adjust time clock activity for production staff.
  • Complete reports and projects within identified deadlines.
  • Complete and deliver performance feedback for production staff.
  • Responsible for ensuring a healthy work environment free of harassment and discrimination.


Skills required:


  • Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel to include presenting information to individuals and small groups.
  • Advanced problem solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead personnel toward the achievement of company goals.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies preferred
  • PC skills including MS Office Suite
  • Advanced time management skills
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
  • Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.an.




  • College degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Business Administration required
  • Five years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership position.
