Fleetwood / Holiday Rambler Diesel Division Regional Sales Account Manager

 

The Regional Sales Account Manager (RSAM) is responsible for managing existing dealers in assigned territory and growing their dealer network inside that territory as determined and defined by REV RV Group (RRG) management. This includes (but does not limit to) managing dealer relationships in accordance with signed Dealer Sales and Service Agreements (DSSA). The RSAM will be heavily involved in strategizing with the dealer to produce the most output in their respective territory. The RSAM will be directly accountable for partnering with the dealer to create the retail targets and the wholesale stocking levels for each account represented in their territory based upon market statistics and conditions. At a minimum, the RSAM is responsible for producing 20% market share in each respective market represented. The RSAM is responsible for obtaining market information that will assist the Product and Sales Manager (PSM) with making the product and sales decisions that affect RRG. The RSAM is responsible to meet or exceed the sales and gross margin objectives established by management for annual budgets.  

 

The sales territory consists of:  Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico and Louisiana.  Candidates considered for the position will need to live or plan to live within the the sales territory. This position will report directly to the PSM.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Execute sales strategy in accordance with management guidelines for assigned dealers and prospects
  • Create market and territory growth opportunity by signing new dealers in open markets that share REV RV goals and values.
  • Provide training to dealer as required and work directly with product sales trainers to send uniform message to dealer body.
  • Obtain and submit orders into sales configurator.
  • Obtain and submit purchase order numbers in accordance with the terms laid out in the DSSA and obtain flooring approval from dealers for orders taken.
  • Work with PSM to ensure that the DSSA and other supporting documents are appropriate.
  • Represent RRG at dealer lot promotions, industry events, industry open house events, regional sales events, and national sales events as necessary to support dealer or RRG national, regional or local sales efforts.
  • Provide market data feedback to RSM for product enhancements and for future product consideration.
  • Communicate pricing and documentation required in accordance with management guidelines.
  • Understand the importance of being a member of the RRG sales organization and completing daily tasks outlined in this document and in other forms such as verbal or written communication.
  • The RSAM is responsible for performing above responsibilities in accordance with all RRG Human
  • Resources and Safety policies.

 

Hiring Profile:

 

• Education

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in business or marketing

• Preferred accounting background or knowledge

• Work experience

• Five or more year’s business experience

• Five or more years in the RV industry

• Wholesale or retail automotive sales experience

• Other desired requirements

• Extensive ability to travel (40 - 50%)
