Job Summary:

This position is responsible for timely and accurate shipping, receiving, moving, and storing of company packages and/or materials.


  • Perform shipping, receiving, and moving of packages and/or materials in a timely and accurate manner to satisfy internal and external customer needs.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of company supplies and materials to ensure stored materials are in good quality and in ample supply when requests are made.
  • Maintain the necessary tracking logs required to follow-up, as needed, on incoming or outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate with and assist internal departments on special freight requirements.
  • Understand and administer Fleetwood cost containment policies in day-to-day operations as it applies to shipping and receiving pricing as well as operational applications.
  • Identify and conduct needed corrections to supplies, repairs to company possessions, or movement of materials as is deemed necessary.
  • Maintain orderly and accurate materials and supplies to enhance the timeliness, accuracy, and accessibility of stored products/materials.
  • Performs multiple department tasks to assist when other areas require assistance.
  • Proficient in operating hand truck, forklift or other necessary devices in order to fulfill department requirements.
  • Provides reports and logs as required by management.
  • Adheres to company policies with regard to shipping and receiving and advises management of areas where savings and/or process improvements may be needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Previous shipping and/or receiving experience preferred
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Capable of lifting 40 lbs repetitively
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a prioritized manner
  • Must be able to stand for an entire work day
  • Forklift certification preferred
