SCOPE: Performs clerical duties of an intermediate difficulty requiring some analysis, exercise of judgment, and sound knowledge of Company and/or department procedures related to work performed. May check the work of other clerks and/or carry such work through the next processing stage. Specific work performed can include working with figures, the operation of simple office machines (i.e., calculator, computer, etc.), and contacts with customers or suppliers as well as other departments. Simple repair of purchased components will be required.


•             Processes complex documents to assure completeness and accuracy in accordance with established procedures or standing instructions, and where the processing requires considerable knowledge of procedures.

•             Check documents for accuracy and completeness of specific entries.

•             Records data of a simple nature where proper entry has been indicated or is readily identifiable. Lists data from documents or records where knowledge of the subject matter is not required.

•             Files routine material according to prescribed instructions.

•             Material has already been classified or is easily classified in a simple serial system (i.e., alphabetical, chronological, numeric, etc.).

•             Locates and extracts material from files or locations when requested.

•             Must be able to prioritize duties and responsibilities as tasks will shift throughout the workday.

•             Cycle count and location auditing will be required.

•             Basic knowledge of packaging and equipment used for shipping purposes is required.

•             BAAN experience preferred.


•             Must be able to use shipping software with FedEx, UPS, TMS, etc.

•             Will be required to obtain a forklift license.

•             Must be able to use simple tools and measuring devices.

1.            SAFETY: Follow E-ONE General Health & Safety Rules, ensure safe operating conditions within the area of responsibility, and notify coworkers and supervisors of hazardous acts and conditions. Proper use of PPE; use only defect-free equipment. Promote safety in the department. Use proper lifting techniques and an overhead hoist when needed. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with 5-S Philosophy. Participate in hazardous communication training and safety meetings.

2.            QUALITY: Responsible for the quality of work. This requires defect-free work and an understanding of the requirements of the company’s quality system as it pertains to job duties and responsibilities. Must be able to check work to ensure conformance to process control instructions, specifications, and quality standards. Identify and segregate non-conforming products. Identify the need for and assist in initiating and implementing corrective and preventive actions when appropriate.

3.            FLEXIBILITY: Able and willing to work in other areas as needed. Must be flexible in taking lunch and breaks when workflow requires. Willing to work additional hours as necessary.

4.            INITIATIVE: Actively participate in continuous improvement of products and processes to better serve customers and improve the overall profitability of E-ONE. Actively seek out work in other areas when the current assignment is complete. Make suggestions for improving product quality, processes, safety, and company profitability.

•             May be exposed to information of a confidential nature. Will be required to sign a standard confidentiality and non-compete agreement.  

•             At least 1 year experience in clerical routines with competency in computer operations. Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail to produce accurate work products.

•             Must have a good command of the English language, basic math skills, record record-keeping abilities.

•             Must be comfortable working with computers.

•             Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
