REV RTC Fire Apparatus Painter responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Independently perform paint, body and graphics work as required in the REV RTC Paint Facility and at customer’s locations round the State of Florida with little or no direct supervision as directed by the Service Manager.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Posses certifications required for paint application to manufacturer standards.  
• Always project a courteous, helpful demeanor in dealing with internal & external customers. (Both customers and REV RTC employees)
• Make sure paint related jobs are completed with a VERY HIGH DEGREE OF QUALITY
• Communicate clearly with customers and fellow employees to ensure quality processes are adhered to.  
• Manage your time to provide maximum efficiencies and company profitability.  (inform your supervisor on your whereabouts and tasks).
• Always communicate with customers in a mature and professional manner
• As a member of the REV RTC Team, you are expected to always communicate the goals of the company to employees and customers in a positive constructive fashion. You are as much a sales person for the Team as a service representative.
• Always keep in mind that in REV RTC customers perceive you and the work you do, as the “company”.  

Responsibilities of Position

• Perform paint and body work as required for customers   
• Ensure customer satisfaction through expedient and thorough paint jobs, repairs & graphics application
• Wear safety gear at all times to protect yourself from sanding, painting, grinding, dust, vapors or any other potential risk with painting operations.
• Care for and maintain your equipment to maintain appearance standards
• Maintain your parts inventory and account for all parts and equipment in your possession
• Make sure you prepare and paint vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Survey customers to determine methods of improving REV RTC service capability and submit to supervisor on a weekly basis
• Work closely with Parts Department to track, maintain and manage service department parts inventories.

Position Requirements:

• Valid Florida CDL driver’s license
• Dupont or Akzo Nobel training certificates
• Prefer experience in the fire apparatus industry. Parts, service and sales experience helpful
• Prefer computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point & Outlook), and business operating systems as related to Service Department management
• Prefer written and oral communication skills with ability to function proficiently in a customer oriented environment
• Must maintain a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers to solve problems and influence company financial performance and financial goals.
• Must possess Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
