Reporting to the President or VP/GM, this position is responsible to oversee management of all manufacturing to produce products and direct activities so that approved products are manufactured on-schedule and within approved quality standards and cost objectives. In addition, this position participates in market planning, company strategy, financial analysis and technical development of products and services.


This position must work effectively and relate well with others at all levels. Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships. When related positions become available, reviews applications, conducts interviews, approves hiring and terminations, performance reviews, changes in compensation/status, etc. 


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Supports company officers and senior staff members in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives. Supports and ensures compliance to REV’s corporate policies and procedures.
  • Develops the manufacturing plan and establishes programs/procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations and methods to ensure products conform to established customer and company quality standards.
  • Formulates optimum financial and labor plan controls with least amount of labor, overhead and raw material costs to meet budgetary plans.
  • Directs and monitors department Managers to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing, engineering and safety procedures. Acts as liaison between department management/subordinate levels, as well as, executive/department manager levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes and results.
  • Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap including monitoring of scrap and rework data. Directs the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
  • Supports and participates in various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g., training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, Lean activities, etc.)
  • Initiates and coordinates approved major projects, (e.g., plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.)
  • Keeps current on industry information and technology affecting functional areas to increase innovation and ensure compliance to all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
  • When related positions become available, reviews applications, conducts interviews, approve hiring and terminations, performance reviews, changes in compensation/status, etc
  • Supports semi-annual financial audits and year-end inventory as requested.
  • Accomplishes all other related duties as appropriately requested or assigned. 



  • HS Diploma or GED
  • BA/BS degree with emphasis in business administration, economics and/or engineering with 2 years of progressively responsible purchasing and material control experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 



  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team player, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of process improvement, safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and employee relations.
  • Ability to perform employee training and development, conflict resolution, problem analysis and resolution, quality orientation, and inventory management.
  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets complex engineering drawings, change orders, and production build instructions and documents.
  • Computer proficient with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and other software utilized in the production operations. 



Has contact with Corporate, Executive and other department personnel, at all levels, including Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Human Resources, Accounting, Production, and Management. Also has contact with external Customer, Dealer, and Industry contacts.
