The Accounting Clerk is an integral part of the accounting department.  They are responsible for processing accounts payable, backflushing materials, completing certificates of origin, and assisting with month-end close.  May be asked to assist with other reporting requirements as needed.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process accounts payable invoices including entering and check run
  • Coordinate approvals of invoices based on predefined approval matrix
  • Process Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin paperwork for shipped units
  • Backflush materials from Bill of Materials through Accounting System and Baysheets
  • Process Mail
  • Data entry and invoice setup for new contracts
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree preferred in Accounting or Finance
  • Accounts Payable experience required
  • 10 Key experience required
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Data Entry experience requiredStrong reading comprehension and grammar skills
