The Accounting Clerk is an integral part of the accounting department. They are responsible for processing accounts payable, backflushing materials, completing certificates of origin, and assisting with month-end close. May be asked to assist with other reporting requirements as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process accounts payable invoices including entering and check run
- Coordinate approvals of invoices based on predefined approval matrix
- Process Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin paperwork for shipped units
- Backflush materials from Bill of Materials through Accounting System and Baysheets
- Process Mail
- Data entry and invoice setup for new contracts
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree preferred in Accounting or Finance
- Accounts Payable experience required
- 10 Key experience required
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required
- Data Entry experience requiredStrong reading comprehension and grammar skills
