IT Business Analyst - Finance and Operations (D365 F&O)

As a key member of our internal ERP implementation and support team, the IT Business Analyst (Supply Chain) will play a crucial role in rolling out and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) across our REV sites. The responsibilities include understanding business processes, ensuring proper system configuration with minimal customizations, and maximizing efficiency. This position will participate in business process design, system setup, testing, user training, and ongoing support. As we grow and enhance our D365 support, your role will continue to evolve. This is a position with a hybrid work arrangement out of Ocala Florida, Decatur, Indiana or Brookfield, WI with occasional additional on-site support required. Total travel to any site is up to 30%.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Active Participation in D365 F&O Rollouts:
- Engage proactively in the implementation of D365 Finance and Operations.
- On-site assistance with end users during key periods during the implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during rollouts to ensure successful adoption.
- System Configuration Expertise and Support
- Develop an in-depth understanding of D365 F&O setup and configuration.
- Optimize system settings while minimizing customizations.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve tickets and work with end users for successful resolution.
- Requirements Gathering and Implementation:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze needs and design system solutions.
- Translate business processes and operational knowledge into clear requirements.
- Global Standards and Process Streamlining:
- Document global standards for configuring companies on the D365 platform.
- Streamline setup processes for repeatability and efficiency.
- Project Management and Issue Resolution:
- Manage small projects by identifying issues, defining requirements, and creating project plans.
- Resolve system-related challenges promptly.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create system modules, specifications, diagrams, and user guides.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for effective project activities.
- Provide orientation and training to end users.
- Professional Interaction and Compliance:
- Interface with users, system owners, and senior staff professionally.
- Uphold corporate governance and comply with SOX and legal regulations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Able to analyze the gap between a user request and the capability of the support application to determine if a customize is needed or the functionality exists.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency to complete activities during implementation as well as when supplying support.
- Comfortable travelling to business sites and working with teams to complete implementations.
- Working knowledge of SQL, reading, and writing queries.
- General knowledge of network, PC operations system, network hardware, protocol, and standards.
- Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Able to travel domestically with a travel requirement based on implementation schedule (roughly 30% of time).
Education and/or Experience:
- Supply chain & Procurement experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment strongly preferred (e.g., buyer/planner, materials analyst, supply chain coordinator).
- Previous ERP experience with Procurement, Inventory Management, Sales Orders, and Warehouse Management modules in D365 Finance & Operations (or Microsoft AX) preferred. (Will train on D365 SCM modules if strong ERP experience exists.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of relevant supply chain or ERP experience, including cross-functional process knowledge preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to write and understand SQL queries to extract and analyze operational data.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX and concepts like Segregation of Duties (SOD) as they apply to supply chain operations and approvals.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar work item management tools is a plus.
