This role will support the REV Group Compliance function and assist in IT audit related activities.  The ideal candidate will be motivated and possess a sharp and analytical mindset.  The candidate will perform audit activities to assess the IT systems and networks against policies and procedures, and Sarbanes Oxley controls. The candidate should be able to work with large data sets by efficient manipulation of data in Excel or Access, or other data analysis tools to summarize results, identify outliers and present findings.  A foundational course of statistics is a plus.  The candidate should also possess good verbal and written communication skills. On the job training will be provided for responsibilities assigned.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sr. Director – Information Security & Compliance with assigned tasks.
  • Perform review and monitoring of activities related to IT Audit and Sarbanes Oxley audit.
  • Perform Sarbanes Oxley audit activities using IT systems to ensure that processes are working effectively.
  • Work with IT teams to obtain audit evidence.
  • Document audit controls and results.
  • Assist with internal IT audits as needed.
  • Interact with external auditors and external parties to provide or obtain information for audit purposes.
  • Analyze data to determine outliers and common causes.
  • Respond to questionnaires, as assigned.
  • Report on audit failures, when observed or assigned.
  • Obtain direction from IT Management on any other compliance related tasks as needed.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Motivated, quick learner with analytical mindset.
  • Ability to self-manage tasks and deliver within the assigned timeframe.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Solid knowledge of IT concepts related to network management, server management, software development and audit logs.
  • Strong data analysis skills, using Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work  effectively with colleagues, customers, vendors and other third parties.
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Prior software coding, system administration or networking experience is a plus.
  • Statistical knowledge is a plus.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Current college student enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent who is in their final semester of schooling
  • Preferred someone with REV Group work experience

 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to:

  • Communicate telephonically and electronically with team members and externa parties.
  • Hear/understand/speak with team members at all levels within a diverse workforce.
  • Walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including the ability to travel by air/auto to remote sites.
  • Work in front of a personal computer for long periods of time.
  • Lift documents/work materials up to 50 pounds in weight.
