Assembling – the process of assembling fiberglass parts.
- Assembler must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of appropriate training certification
- Have a consistent and proven attendance record
- Must be able to assemble within quality and quantity standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times
- Practices daily a favorable working environment with all employees
- Properly maintain all tools and fixtures
- Must use materials/supplies fully with minimal scrap
- Any violation of the above mentioned guidelines will result in the loss of operators status (job level)
- Assembler must be able to meet the physical demands/abilities as outlined in worksteps procedure
- Assembler must meet the following environmental demands/hazards:
- Exposure to noise levels of over 100 dB (ear protection required)
- Vibration
- Exposure to fiberglass dust on the skin
- Responsibility and authority to verify work affecting quality of the end product
