Performs the tasks necessary to assemble the coach in a specific area or discipline on the actual assembly line in a timely manner. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Must be capable of using a variety of tools for sustained periods of time
Must be able to interpret and understand drawings, Bills of materials and other verbal and written instructions
Identify and report errors when found on Prints and Bills of Materials
Work with other members of the assembly process to complete coaches within the allotted time frame.
Meet and follow all safety and quality requirements
Identify defective items and dispose of according to company processes
Ability to reason and solve problems as they arise.
And other duties as assigned

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED.
Read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate in English
Capable of reading a tape measure and other measuring devices
Attention to detail
Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
Good hand eye coordination
