Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator serves a vital role in supporting and optimizing key HR functions across the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate employee data, facilitating onboarding processes, assisting with payroll administration, and coordinating employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, the HR Coordinator provides essential administrative support across a broad spectrum of HR activities.

Functioning as a liaison between employees, payroll, and other internal stakeholders, this role ensures the efficient and timely processing of HR-related information while effectively addressing employee questions and concerns. Strong performance in this role supports accurate data reporting, seamless payroll execution, and the promotion of positive employee relations.

Key responsibilities also include maintaining comprehensive employee records, managing document filing systems, and ensuring precise data entry within the HRIS platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, fostering strong working relationships and positive employee engagement.
  • Assist with the execution of weekly and bi-weekly payroll processes in collaboration with the Payroll team.
  • Maintain, update, and generate reports using the HRIS and ADP timekeeping systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Compile and analyze employee-related data from HRIS systems to create presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the intake, documentation, and resolution tracking of employee relations matters.
  • Manage front-line HR communications, including answering calls, responding to walk-ins, and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Process new hire documentation and assist in coordinating and facilitating the on-site onboarding experience, including verifying and maintaining current I-9 documentation in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Verify and maintain current I-9 documentation in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Support the offboarding process by managing termination procedures and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, both physical and electronic, in compliance with recordkeeping standards.
  • Prepare and manage HR correspondence, including responses to unemployment claims, verification of employment, and information requests.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR programs, policies, and procedures from Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR leadership.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent HR experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint etc.)
  • Power BI knowledge a plus
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Human Resources experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deal with a variety of changing situations
