Job Overview
REV Recreation, a leading manufacturer of luxury motorhomes, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and repairs on electrical and mechanical production systems. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in maintaining production equipment and a willingness to develop advanced skills such as troubleshooting CNC, Fanuc controls, and other complex systems. This role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on a variety of electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
- Follow established procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, including electrical and mechanical failures, with guidance as needed.
- Conduct equipment failure analysis and perform unscheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Log equipment modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities in the designated system accurately and promptly.
- Assist with construction, renovation, or installation of workspaces and equipment as directed.
- Maintain company-owned pneumatic and electric power tools, equipment, and vehicles to ensure functionality and longevity.
- Adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
- Be available for evening and weekend on-call hours as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall goals of the maintenance team and plant operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or trade school certification preferred.
- 1+ years of relevant experience preferred; candidates with strong technical skills and 0-2 years of general work experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AC/DC control repairs, electrical, plumbing and preventive maintenance skills
- Familiarity with CNC, Fanuc controls, or PLC troubleshooting preferred.
- OSHA 10/30, HVAC, or related certifications a plus.
- Flexible self-starter, available for on-call hours
- Basic knowledge in construction and renovation tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
