Job summary:

Assemble wood cabinets from engineering drawings, utilizing a variety of different tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Installation, fabrication of cabinet components and hardware.
Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English
Close attention to detail
Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
Assist in training cabinet makers at all skill levels.
Meet minimum safety and 5S standards.
Meet all QA and QC standards for each task.
Be compliant with all the rules of conduct and attendance per the company handbook.
Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):

2 years or more experience in Saw Operator/Cabinet Building required

Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communica te simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40#’s without assistance.
Ability to stand at a workstation for multiple hours a day (minus specified breaks.)
Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.
Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.
Ability to laminate cabinets & panels as needed.
Familiar with the safe operation of various tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and routers.
Ability to use basic mathematics.
Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.
