Job overview

Perform the tasks necessary to keep the factory operating, repairing equipment used in the facility. Preventative and unscheduled maintenance on equipment in the facilities including HVAC Systems, plumbing electrical (lighting fixtures), pneumatic systems, installation of plumbing fixtures, general carpentry ability- drywall repair, painting, framing and interior trim work. Ability to properly use hand and power tools.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

*Promote and maintain a safe work environment.

* Follow company safety rules and regulations.

*Ability to work safely with little or no supervision.

* Ability to multitask in numerous jobs.

* Attention to detail.

* Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

* Read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate in English.

* Perform testing, diagnostics and repairs on equipment within the facilities.

* Complete preventative maintenance activities and assist in updating records of those activities.

* Maintain records of maintenance performed.

* Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order.

* Communicate openly with other team members regarding work priorities and the state of projects.

* Other assigned duties.

Requirements:

Be dependable and demonstrate a teamwork concept in all aspects of maintenance.
Must be able to work with other team members and personalities, vendors always maintaining professionalism.
Flexible working hours and possible weekends and scheduled facility shutdowns.
Must be able to analyze problems and find solutions.
Must have valid driver’s license.
