E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks including pumpers and tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, rescues of all sizes, quick attack units, industrial trucks, and ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting vehicles).

Available schedules:

 

Monday - Thursday from 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday 

or 

Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday

 

Performs basic assembly tasks under supervision while learning tools, processes, and safety standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Follow work instructions, prints, shop orders, and pick lists with guidance.
  • Assist in assembling:
    • Basic wiring components
    • Harnesses and simple panels
  • Retrieve parts and materials from staging areas.
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
  • Support testing of components (lights, sirens, etc.) under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace aligned with 5S principles.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of:
    • Mechanical components
    • Electrical components (intro to 12V DC)
  • Entry-level blueprint reading.
  • Basic computer skills.

Problem Solving

  • Identify obvious defects or issues and report to supervisor.
  • Follow troubleshooting steps with direction.

Expectations

  • Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.

 

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is  $16.50– $18.50.  This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
