Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday
Scope:
Acts as a subject matter expert and team leader, handling complex systems, mentoring others, and supporting production planning.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of:
- Electrical systems (complex wiring, controls)
- Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted
- Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues.
- Lead testing, validation, and final system verification.
- Serve as a technical advisor to supervisors.
- Assist in:
- Production planning
- Daily/weekly scheduling
- Review and scrub:
- Print packages
- BOMs
- Shop orders (identify and correct discrepancies)
- Optimize workflows and support process improvements.
Leadership & Training
- Train and mentor new and transferred employees.
- Lead by example in:
- Safety
- Quality
- Work ethic
- Support team development and knowledge sharing.
Technical Skills
- Expert-level understanding of:
- Electrical systems (12V DC / 110V AC)
- Schematics and system integration
- Hydraulic systems (strongly preferred)
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.

- Independently resolve highly complex issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is <<16.50 – 26.00>>. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role.
