Overview: Responsible for planning, procurement and execution of project.  First point of contact for any issues or discrepancies arising from within the heads of various departments that relate to a specific project. Must have a broad and flexible toolkit of techniques, resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled. Project management is the responsibility of a project manager: maintain the progress, mutual interaction and tasks of various parties in such a way that reduces the risk of overall failure, maximizes benefits, and minimizes costs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Able to Define and communicate project objectives that are clear, useful and attainable.
  • Procuring the project requirements like workforce, required information, various agreements and material or technology needed to accomplish project objectives.
  • Managing the constraints of the project management triangle, which are cost, time, scope and quality.
  • Expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team.
  • Must work well under pressure and be comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to cultivate the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among all of a project's stakeholders.

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or other project management software.
