The Administrator of Warranty is a key position that ensures proper handling of warranty claims from our customers/dealers.  The Administrator of Warranty is to review customer reported warranty cases, to gather related information AEV internally, communicate AEV internally and externally with customer.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receives phone calls and correspondence from customers with regards to warranty problems and claims.
  • Gathers case relevant information from customer/ dealer and AEV internally.
  • Communicate AEV internally and externally with customer related to warranty case.
  • Facilitates resolution of customer warranty claims by identifying the needed resolution, coordination with the necessary resources, and following up as required to assure completion of the warranty case.
  • Prepares data/ facts for AEV warranty case decision.
  • Communicates warranty issues to management.
  • Uses strong communications skills to enhance relations with our customers and to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and reports regarding warranty claims, actions taken and resolution
  • Maintains high levels of product and policy knowledge to provide the most accurate and efficient level of customer service.
  • Ensures compliance with established policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to learn product specific information as it pertains to the position.
  • Ability to work effectively both as a team player and as an individual contributor.

Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in Customer Service preferred
  • Experience in a related industry
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong computer skills and comprehension of appropriate software packages
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
  • Work overtime as required
  • Ability to work safely and recognizes issues that may be unsafe and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks
  • Involved in projects as required.
