Provides sales support to the sales team and liaison for dealer partners.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Primary liaison to dealers:  By coordinating with in house departments, provides answers and updates.  During the build phase, provide customer updates in word and photos. 
  • Supports the AEV sales efforts by providing ongoing tracking and reporting: sales reports, delivery schedule and notifying sales reps when customer/dealer supplied parts are due to production prior to the build.
  • Manages all work related to licensing AEV and its sales representatives to do business across the United States, which includes dealer/manufacturing license applications and renewals.  Coordinates the behind the scenes logistics to supports sales representatives and dealers: track and schedule demonstration vehicles, manages online state bidding and dealer online communication.
  • Supports marketing efforts by posting frequently on company Facebook page and other media, ensures supply of sales and promotional materials by coordinating literature and promotional item inventory, and coordinates customer feedback surveys.
  • Must be a Notary or willing to take classes to become a Notary in the first 30 days.
  • Any other tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):

  • Understands the importance of putting the customer first, discretion, and the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Works well autonomously and within a team; able to build relationships.
  • Acts with urgency and responds with calm.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in an ever-changing and demanding environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience utilizing equipment normally associated with Office work including Computers, Copy Machines, Fax Machines, Telephones, etc.
  • Associate degree in Technology or Business Administration and 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/sales environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel (intermediate level is highly preferred), and PowerPoint; experience bidding process and online software a plus.
  •   Preferred experience with CPQ and Salesforce.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear, taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to an indoor climate-controlled area. The noise level is usually moderate. In the plant, eye and hearing protection is mandatory, dust mask and safety toe shoes may be required in identified areas. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.   • Will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment to include safety glasses and haring protection (earplugs) when walking in the plant.
