SUMMARY:

Graphic Application Assemblers complete the design, production, and application process while working around the assembly and electrical teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Detailed measuring and layout of striping, lettering, reflective tape, etc. for computer design,

production and application of vinyl graphics to fire trucks

Self-check work and inspect prior processes

Meet production goals

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Initiate process improvements when able

Work in close proximity to customer, as needed

Operate any equipment or tools needed to perform the job

Assist other team members and departments as needed

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent experience

High quality work and attention to detail is a MUST

Flexibility with time and schedule - must be able to work with schedules and deadlines

Should have 2+ years of related experiences

Must have experience with Omega Composer Software or similar software such as Illustrator or Corel Draw

Must have experience with Gerber Edge FX and Gerber Envision 375 graphics equipment or similar

Must have basic graphic design experience

Ability to use basic hand and power tools

Ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to maintain attendance within company guidelines

Ability to retain and apply instructions

Work overtime on short notice

Basic computer skills

Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Must be detailed orientated

Ability to read and understand truck specification documents

Ability to communicate and understand in English

Ability to work within safety guidelines

Must be self-motivated

Must be able to work with little to no supervision after two weeks
