Primary Functions:

Essential duties of the position will range from customer support and order entry to inside sales support and sales report creation and management.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure to provide outstanding Customer Service through phone, email, fax, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answer customers and outside sales personnel calls and requests
  •  Develop quotes, enter orders.
  • Manage orders in the system.
  • Complete change orders and PPAOs and ensure policy for both is followed. Coordinating with all departments involved
  • Create and manage sale reporting.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.

 

Qualifications:

  • Competent at managing responsibilities in a high-volume atmosphere.
  • Skilled at interacting with customers of all socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, advanced in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employee of the organization.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.
  • College degree preferred.

 

 

Safety:

  • Follow the Capacity Health and Safety Rules, ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility, and notify coworkers and supervisors of hazardous acts and conditions.  Proper use of PPE; use only defect-free equipment.  Promote safety in department. Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with 5S Philosophy.

 

 

Quality:

  • Responsible for the quality of work.  This requires defect-free work and understanding of the requirements of the company’s quality system as it pertains to job duties and responsibilities.  Must be able to check work to ensure conformance to process control instructions, specifications, and quality standards.  Identify and segregate non-conforming product.  Identify the need for and assist in initiating and implementing corrective and preventative actions when appropriate.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Usually the employee will perform the majority of this job in an office environment.  However, while performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts.  The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particle and vibration.  The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic and caustic chemicals.

 

The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet.

 

Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Two (2) years’ experience working in the Specialty Vehicle industry preferred.
  • Two (2) years’ experience working in customer service preferred.

 

Personal Protective Equipment Recommended and/or Required:

  • Safety glasses if walking in plant vicinity.
  • Earplugs if walking in plant vicinity.
  • Steel toe shoes if walking in plant vicinity.
