Job summary:

Under the direction of the Building Manager, this position is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the activities of employees engaged in the production process, including the final assembly and testing of the product. Some of the typical functions associated with this position are:



  1.  Responsible for coordinating manpower efforts and material flow through production to ensure that trucs are completed, inspected, and tested in accordance with the production schedule requirements.
  2. Shift manpower between production areas to meet schedule requirements.
  3. Coordinate inspections and testing in all area’s to assure compliance and minimize expense.
  4. Interface between production and engineering to determine best way to meet customer requirement.
  5. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities between departments.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.


Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):


  1. Ability to think ahead and plan over a period of time.
  2. Implement action plans to achieve desired results including problem resolutions.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Quality orientation and high attention to detail.
  5. Possess manufacturing experience in an assembly operation or mechanical aptitude.
  6. A strong team player.
  7. Possess basic computer skills with knowledge of Sytline.
  8. Fire Service experience a plus.
  9. Must be able to understand and communicate in English
  10. A high school diploma or equivalent
  11. Should have good communication skills
  12. Must be able to climb, twist, bend and stoop.
  13. Must have use of hands and be able to work over-head.
  14. Must be able to stand, squat, and grasp.
  15. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
