SCOPE:

Coordinate, prepare and analyze various monthly, quarterly and annual financial analysis. Support management with various analysis so they can make sound business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and analyze internal and external financial reporting, including:
  • Analyze manufacturing and operational costs, including labor, materials, and overhead
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and explain drivers
  • Assist with month-end close, including inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)
  • Analyze general ledger account balances and financial activity
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Partner with operations teams to improve cost efficiency and reporting accuracy
  • Provide financial support across all company departments, including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, job costing, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Ensure all required financial reporting is completed accurately and timely for Corporate Office compliance with SEC and IRS regulations.
  • Respond to requests for financial information from internal and external stakeholders, particularly related to financial performance.
  • Prioritize duties and complete tasks according to established schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Handle confidential and critical accounting matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Participate in internal and external audit activities and support audit requirements.
  • Job functions may include special assignments as directed by the department supervisor or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Requires a minimum of four years of practical experience in general ledger accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, consolidations, and currency translations.
  • Must possess a strong background in state and federal taxation requirements and reporting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Occasional standing, walking, or moving about the office/warehouse.
  • Ability to lift or carry items up to 10–15 pounds (such as files, laptops, or office supplies).
  • Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Visual ability to read documents, screens, and reports.
  • Clear verbal communication for meetings, phone calls, and presentations.
  • Ability to focus on detailed tasks for sustained periods.
