SCOPE:

Coordinate, prepare and analyze various monthly, quarterly and annual financial analysis. Support management with various analysis so they can make sound business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and analyze internal and external financial reporting, including:
Analyze manufacturing and operational costs, including labor, materials, and overhead
Perform monthly variance analysis and explain drivers
Assist with month-end close, including inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS)
Analyze general ledger account balances and financial activity
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Partner with operations teams to improve cost efficiency and reporting accuracy
Provide financial support across all company departments, including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, job costing, financial reporting, and analysis.
Ensure all required financial reporting is completed accurately and timely for Corporate Office compliance with SEC and IRS regulations.
Respond to requests for financial information from internal and external stakeholders, particularly related to financial performance.
Prioritize duties and complete tasks according to established schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
Handle confidential and critical accounting matters with professionalism and discretion.
Participate in internal and external audit activities and support audit requirements.
Job functions may include special assignments as directed by the department supervisor or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Requires a minimum of four years of practical experience in general ledger accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, consolidations, and currency translations.
Must possess a strong background in state and federal taxation requirements and reporting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
Occasional standing, walking, or moving about the office/warehouse.
Ability to lift or carry items up to 10–15 pounds (such as files, laptops, or office supplies).
Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
Visual ability to read documents, screens, and reports.
Clear verbal communication for meetings, phone calls, and presentations.
Ability to focus on detailed tasks for sustained periods.
