SCOPE: Coordination of service parts and materials to be used in the distribution of customer parts orders. . Responsible to ensure accuracy and quality of parts order to be delivered to customers. Must ensure all customer requirements as documented in production prints and instructions in parts sales orders, result in a defect-free parts shipment.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the inspection and receiving of all products from suppliers ensuring all transactions are properly recorded within BaaN. Ensuring all parts are properly labeled and stored in correct storage container. This responsibility requires working closely with in-bound carrier truck drivers to ensure proper documentation of damage or shipping discrepancies and timely notification to the buyer.
  • Reviews all incoming product for proper distribution to stock or allocation to customer Sales Orders. Make proper BaaN transaction to update inventory and customer order status.
  • Picking of Customer Sales Orders verifying accuracy of quantities and descriptions of parts being shipped. Requires accurate entry of data into BaaN to ensure the proper invoicing to customer.
  • Responsible for the proper staging of customer orders pending shipment to customer.
  • Responsible for the proper packaging of customer orders to ensure safe, un-damaged delivery of product to the customer.
  • Create proper documentation for common carrier shipments as well as necessary documentation for international customer orders. Includes, but not restricted to, Performa invoices, NAFTA documents, etc.
  • Job includes standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, and bending activities, use of ladders to reach storage areas and the ability to lift 40 pounds (materials)
  • Cycle counts including data entry and variance research
  • Reconcile and research customer order backlog report.
  • Warehouse organization, cleaning and labeling and 5-S.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels of “Cost Parts”.
  • Request the transfer of interplant products, maintain the transfer portal, and submit requisitions as needed
  • Proper documentation and updating of DMR/Red tag parts.
  • Process customer returns/RGA’s to ensure proper credit is issued to customer and inventory records accurately updated.
  • Must be able to perform within physical requirements including, but not limited to 45 lb. single lift; walking, kneeling, squatting and standing for long periods of time
  • Follow work standards

 

OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain workflow and/or respond to production requirements.
  • May be required to perform other duties not listed but needed by Supervisor in order to keep trucks on schedule.

Must be able to check work to ensure conformance to process control instructions, specifications, and quality standards. Identify and segregate non-conforming product. Identify the need for and assist in initiating and implementing corrective and preventive actions when appropriate.  Follow the 3 Don’ts: 1) Don’t accept poor quality; 2) Don’t make poor quality; 3) Don’t pass poor quality.
  3. FLEXIBILITY: Able and willing to work in other areas as needed. Must be flexible in taking lunch and breaks when workflow requires. Willing to work additional hours as necessary.
  4. INITIATIVE: Actively participate in continuous improvement of products and processes to better serve customers and improve the overall profitability of E-ONE. Actively seek out work in other areas when current assignment is complete. Make suggestions for improving product quality, processes, safety, and company profitability.  Submit these implemented improvements utilizing our Minor Kaizen process.

Working together as a team for continuous improvement is vital to ensure the future of E-ONE and its employees. Teamwork will be required to be effective in daily production assignments as well as special improvement projects.

  7. CAREER DEVELOPMENT: Attend and participate in a variety of meetings, training programs, and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to changes to equipment or process, new developments, requirements, procedures, and policies. Work towards obtaining your Bronze Lean Certification.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Understand, communicate, and carry out oral and written directions in English.
  • Forklift license (must be able to obtain an E-ONE-issued forklift license)
  • Must have good knowledge of  Materials processes.
  • An understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles a plus
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written
