Duties and Responsibilities:                                                
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:                                                
DA parts, removal of the sharp edges of parts/material                                                
Install catwalks, steps, grab handles, etc.                                                
Install ladder brackets, pike pole and attic ladder                                                
Install hose bed floor and dividers                                                
Install roll out, tip down, and slide masters                                                
Install shelves/pullout drawers                                                
Install tarp hooks for vinyl hose bed                                                
Install compartments filters                                                
Install wheel covers                                                
Install SCBA brackets                                                
Self-check work and inspect prior processes                                                
Meet production goals                                                
Maintain a clean and safe work area                                                
Initiate process improvements when able                                                
Work in close proximity to customer, as needed                                                
Operate any equipment or tools needed to perform the job                                                
Assist other team members and departments as needed                                                
Other duties as assigned                                                
High school diploma or equivalent experience                                                
Ability to use basic hand and power tools                                                
Ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements                                                
Ability to work in a team environment                                                
Ability to maintain attendance within company guidelines

Hours depend on business and department needs.  All positions are subject to overtime as needed.  Overtime can be scheduled by adding additional days to the scheduled days for the week or by extending the hours worked.  See a supervisor for information on overtime worked in a particular department.
