Job Summary: 

The Inventory Control Analyst I is responsible for controlling chassis inventory to ensure product availability meets customer demand. The Inventory Control Analyst I analyzes current inventory levels, production speed, and sales forecasts to determine reorder levels. In addition, liquidates outdated stock and takes actions to resolve out-of-stock situations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and report daily chassis inventory adjustments and changes.
  • Audit operational processes and compliance procedures.
  • Communicate chassis availability and areas of concern
  • Recommend process changes or system enhancements based on findings.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies, operational challenges, and inter-company transfer issues.
  • Inventory trend analysis will include forecasting inventory levels, reconciliation of inventory variances, assisting in determining appropriate inventory levels related to manufacturing volume changes, and any other tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Reconcile inventory inaccuracies and establish countermeasures to mitigate future problems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications as needed to satisfactorily perform work assignments – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, as well as the ability to learn company enterprise systems as needed. SAP/OEM systems are preferred.
  • Must be organized, able to prioritize, set and keep deadlines, change direction quickly, and adapt to various work environments easily.
  • Strong ability to work independently and at times discreetly, use sound judgment, and make thoughtful decisions in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and following instructions.
  • Must be able to work effectively in group settings through collaborative, solutions-oriented, and win-win approaches.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 6 months of experience with purchasing, inventory, or related functions.
  • High School Degree or equivalent.

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is <$19.30 or between $19.30 - $27.70>.  This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role.
