The Chassis Coordinator is responsible for managing and ordering chassis within the OEM system. In addition, file for chassis manufacturer rebates and incentive programs. Critical to the success of this position is to maintain the chassis pricing matrix, reporting, and communication on any upcoming issues. The Chassis Coordinator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a forecast of future and existing chassis needs within OEM system, including allocation requirements.
- Process new orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Order chassis inventory in OEM systems, as well as through dealers when needed.
- Purchase chassis inventory – complete the bill for Accounts Payable.
- Use OEM systems to track production and proposed production at OEM facility.
- File for chassis manufacturer rebates and incentive programs payable to BU dealer.
- Create month-end Chassis inventory and receivable report.
- Maintain and update the Chassis pricing matrix.
- Maintain and update Chassis status report.
- Participate and lead planning meetings on allocation requirements, including needed production rate, sales projections, etc.
- Provide pricing and chassis information for chassis bids.
- Inform sales, engineering, and dealers of chassis product updates from manufacturers.
- Maintain and update chassis receivable account.
- Assign production numbers to the chassis inventory.
- Support sales team and communicate chassis availability and areas of concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write notes and memos.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects quickly and efficiently.
- Team player with a strong desire to succeed and a commitment to excellence.
- High proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Must have high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
Education and/or Experience:
- 3 - 5 Years’ experience related experience.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience.
Physical Demands:
- Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended timeframes.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly. Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl, and kneel as needed.

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $70,304 - $85,000. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
