SCOPE: The Pricing Analyst I gathers, reviews, and analyzes data from various sources to support strategic pricing decisions. The role provides insights on market trends, part-level pricing, and overall pricing strategies that help drive sales and margin growth in a high-SKU environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of scheduled and ad hoc price adjustments including pre-work, data validation, development of impact statements, as well as assisting in distribution to both internal & external customers. 
  • Collaborates with Sales Manager, Finance, Purchasing, & Operations personnel to develop and enact competitive pricing strategies for established and new product offerings  
  • Actively manage pricing and related system functionality to ensure data accuracy across all ERP systems
  • Assists in the promotion and adoption of best practices and data consistency as it relates to pricing and data management throughout the organization 
  • Create innovative solutions to problems based on a mix of solid and/or incomplete data 
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain work flow or respond to sales requirements.

 

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Microsoft Office expertise, especially in Excel and Power Point (Access a plus) 
  • ERP experience, SAP and InforXA (MAPICS) preferred

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree – Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics desired (or related work experience) Effective communication skills, written and oral
  • 1 - 2 years related experience 
  • Analytical thinking and ability to evaluate data from a variety of sources 
  • Problem-solving skills 
  • Strong mathematical skills 
  • Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zones to be considered for this role.

 

This position offers a remote work location. 

 

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is  $58,500– $82,500. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
