Job Description: The parts coordinator will manage Body Fabricated parts being complete per schedules and requests. Will be directly involved in managing which parts are being run on a day-to-day basis by setting sequenced set properties per line schedules and hot items needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive and enter purchase orders into the system (SAP).
- Ensure parts entered in the system are priced correctly.
- Identify if parts are manufactured or purchased.
- Gather the necessary information for production to build parts.
- Gather the necessary information for purchasing to order parts.
- Ensure parts are being built/ordered to meet deadlines.
- Prioritize backlog.
- Update daily aftermarket parts spreadsheet
- Must have some familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Office and SAP system.
- Understanding and carrying out verbal and written directions.
- Working independently in the absence of supervision.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
Requirements (Education & Experience)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service-related role
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English - excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
- Positive, service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a courteous and professional manner w ith employees and clients.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships - be a team player.
- Basic computer skills and excellent phone disposition.
- Willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have time management, multitasking skills, and organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
- Must be able to follow the policy and procedures set forth by the Customer Service Manager and/or company.
