Job summary: This position must focus on customer satisfaction; provide technical support directly to customer via phone or field service. Provide training to customers and service technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-delivery and post delivery problem solving.
- Warranty administration.
- Phone tech support.
- In field service calls and technical training.
- Expansion and development of field service centers.
- Provide back up support to TSM’s as needed.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):
- Must be familiar with all aspects (installation/repair/replacement) of the Wheeled Coach Industries electrical, heat and A/C systems.
- Understanding and carrying out verbal and written directions.
- Working independently in the absence of supervision.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
- Must be familiar with electrical theory and troubleshooting techniques.
- Must be able to effectively troubleshoot Wheeled Coach Industries electrical systems.
- Must be able to guide a field technician through the troubleshooting of system failures via telephone.
- Phone systems, e-mail, and internet browsing skills required.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
- Proficient in computer use and report generation using Microsoft Office Business Suites.
- Working independently in the absence of supervision.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to work in a courteous and professional manner with the public and employees.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years call center experience and/or customer service experience
- 2 years electrical/manufacturing experience
Licenses/certifications:
- Valid Florida drivers license
- Passport.
Special Requirements/Duties:
- Travel, field service work.
